Sweet dee is dating a retarded
The show portrays stereotypes about the mentally disabled through calling them "retarded," assuming they can't drive, they live with their parents, and by infantilizing them.
Audio Description of the Cultural Artifact The plot of the episode follows the character Dee and her new boyfriend Kev, an up and coming Philadelphia rapper, and how Dee's friends believe Kev is mentally disabled.
Ok before the opening credits, Dennis asks Dee if Li'l Kev went to Waldren(sp? Dee says "I don't know."Dennis asks if his name is Kevin Gallagher(sp? Dennis then goes on to say that he went to school with that kid and that kid rode the short bus, etc. First off, no such thing as watching this show way too much.
Why wouldn't Dee have gone to the same school as Dennis and know this already? Second, maybe they went to separate private schools that were all boy/ girl?
This week's random escapade for the gang came from Mac being inspired by the success of Dee's boyfriend, "Lil' Kevin", to start a band to make money.
But it was just so-so in the execution, not delivering the constant laughs most episodes do.

Mac, Charlie, and Frank are starting a band, which also becomes controversial.
First they decide to do good: This week's episode of It had a suitably Sunny scenario, as Dee is excited to be dating a popular local rapper, only for Dennis to put the idea in her mind that he's retarded.
The season contains 15 episodes and concluded airing on November 15, The Gang's narcissism spins out of control, as usual.
