My sirius radio keeps saying updating who is jon walker dating
"My Satellite problem has been fixed by Sirius, probably permanently.
They do it by putting your SDARS unit's EIN into a "protected tier" in their computer system so that when they tell their system to send all the channels for free, our radios do not accept more than the total number of channels which our head units were designed to hold which causes them lock up." If you would like to participate in the discussions please visit On a 45 minute commute its a pain not to have music for so long. I think that the "updating channels" messages happen pretty infrequently, and they usually only last for a minute or two.
I had an UPDATING CHANNELS message this morning, 5/25 for about 25 minutes. Your situation defintiely sounds like it was not the norm. I wonder if the updates take longer if the signal gets blocked at all during the update process.
On a Kenwood/SIRIUS tuner combo setup, when you change the source to anything other than SIRIUS, the SIRIUS tuner it turned OFF, so there is no way it can update when listening to any other source. Not listening to SIRIUS since last weekend just isn't an option for me. But Joel is absolutly right, you MUST leave the HU in SIRIUS mode until the update is completed.
MB service does not seem to have a clue and wants me to bring it in for a diagnostic. [FONT=Arial Black][B][B]I also have a 09 C300 with the exact same problem.
I have a combined Kenwood unit with built-in Sirius. Total elapsed time was around 25 minutes but the amount of time it was on 'Sirius' was probably alot less. I would think that once your car is powered on, your Sirius tuner would automatically be powered on as well and begin pulling in the Sirius signal regardless of whether or not you're listening to Sirius on your radio. maybe changing the radio sources somehow interferes with the Sirius tuner.
I think what I did wrong was to not leave it on 'Sirius'. I'd keep your radio on Sirius for a few minutes the next time this happens to see if it speeds up the update.
When I tune to Sirius, all I get is an error message stating either "acquiring signal" or "updating channels".
Sirius keeps sending a refresh signal but to no avail.
